What do you think of the last photo? It's a bold move, huh? Makes me think of Dr. Seuss:
Would you could you use fuschia in a house?
I could not would not I'm a scared mouse.
Would you could you on a wall?
I would not could not open a can of Farrow + Ball.
Try it, try it, then decide.
I'll try it to get you off my hide.
I like it! I do! I would use fuchsia in my decor...
I'd buy a chair and paint a door.
I'd paint the dog and buy a couch.
I'd buy fuchsia pillows and a matching blouse.
Thank you, thank you, Sam I am.
I've learned to live a bit less bland.
Have a silly Monday, Everyone!

Wholly cow Debby that's some kind of hot color. Nope I wouldn't and couldn't use it in my home since I hate pink. Fun post!

Debra~
Hi love your take on the riddle/ info love pink but don't think I could live with it in my house other than having pink flowers on occasion. Beautiful images
ReplyDeleteteeehehehehehee......nothing like a Seuss inspired poetic touch to start off the week! LOVED ALL THE BOLDNESS and your new header and look are fabulous DEBBY DEAR! Don't you love how gray and any shade of pink go so well?
ReplyDeleteBE BOLD AND BRIGHT! Anita
Still loving the header! And of course loving a little Green Eggs on a Monday Morning! I could and would in my wardrobe...but could not would not in my house!!
ReplyDeleteI love pink. so Yes I could. Yes I would. And you could too! We will hold your hand! I'm often a mouse but not in my house.. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. Have posted two of them myself but I don't know where they're from? What home?
Loved the title of this post!!
Love the pink!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think I could do an outside door - or a side chair... but not a wall. Happy Monday xo HHL
ReplyDeleteLove that door!!!! It's awesome. I would stop dead in my tracks if I came across it!
ReplyDeleteI think fuchsia is a colour that should be used in moderation, just a pop, like those fuchsia chairs in the first pick, they look fantastic amongst that sea of grey.
I'm sure in fact that the paint cans in that colour come with the instruction to "use sparingly", lol!
Back in the early 90's I painted my livingroom in a bubblegum pink with wide white trim. It looked fab, until I noticed the same colour walls on an episode of Bugs Bunny. I wasn't so much of a fan after that. :(
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of fuscia in the house, mainly as accents!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday Hun xoxo

That door in the second pic looks fabulous, but I'm a color coward, so I can only admire the spectacular results achieved by the most audacious.
ReplyDeleteHave a bold and beautiful new week.

Love it Debby! A fun post to kick off our Monday. I would....just finished painting a hot pink night stand.
ReplyDeleteYes oh yes do it!!!! It would brighten your day everyday, and you deserve that!
ReplyDeleteDebby,
ReplyDeleteI could do the doors, especially if they looked like the double doors in the early image. I don't think I could do walls and/or even upholstery.
Clever verse, hope you have a fun day.

Love the pop of pink in all the preceding images, but the whole wall of pink I think may be a little grating after a while. Then again it could be fab, and uplifting. You'd have to be sure of loving pink or have a second can of wimpy colour at the ready in six months time!
ReplyDeleteHappy post, thank you! Cheers, Deborah, Melbourne.
What a funny take on Dr. Seuss' cute little riddle. I would considering doing something like the first image, and I'd definitely do the peonies any day of the week!
ReplyDeleteKaren T.
I would definitely use Fuschia! Definitely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous home !! I adore the living room !
ReplyDeleteand your post is hilarious! I read Green Eggs and Ham to my daughter all the time !
