TIS' THE SEASON

Good morning, Everyone. Hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend. I worked Black Friday and Saturday. The store was abuzz with holiday shoppers looking for deals and looking to treat themselves to a little something sparkly for holiday parties.

I'm looking forward this holiday season with the expectant joy of a five year old. In December I will be featuring a magnificent sea-side resort, all decked out in it's holiday magic, as part of my travel series. I can't wait! I had yesterday off and began putting up Christmas décor, holiday music playing in the background and a big pot of Homemade Chicken Soup on the stove for my son, who is unfortunately sick. Dang college germs.

The holiday season last year was strange. I was newly separated and my life felt surreal, it was as if I was living someone else's life. This year, my life fits. It feels comfortable and just feels right. I have found an I have an abundance of happiness and that, my friends, is all she wrote. What are you most looking forward to during this holiday season?

  2. Good morning beautiful! What a difference a year makes, doesn't it? And FRIENDS, FAMILY and FAITH are the elements that make all things come together. I am so happy and PROUD of you Debby for working through all that you have been through. I love this quote for which the author is unknown:

"A perfect answer is not given, it is found."

You found your path to peace. Many details have been woven in YOUR LIFE and no one else can tell you or show you, only inspire you to find your voice. You are a blessing to me and I thank you for the daily inspiration you give me.

NOW LET'S DISCUSS THE SEASON...oh dear, I just look forward to digging into my next two exciting commissions. I will be making a paper wedding dress for a local bridal stationary shop and I just got another commission last night for a paper torso for a jewelry shop display! But in the meantime, I look forward to cleaning this HOUSE and putting up my gray/silver/white decorations. Ahhhh.....bliss.

BIG HUGS FOR THE DAY! Anita

It's been a long road ... but I will be baking for the first this Christmas - since the accident in 2006 - though I will have help in the kitchen ... I'm excited about baking old favourites and discovering new goodies!! Wishing you a fabulous day! xo C. (HHL)
