What is the first thing that pops into your mind when you hear the question: What is the best thing that's ever happened to you? For me, it's a no-brainer - it's that I was blessed with two beautiful children. Of course, when the Barista at Starbucks hands me a frothy Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I think that is best thing that has happened to me. Now it's your turn...Spill it.

Debra~
Seriously I think I'm in your camp, I love hot sweet coffee drinks and they so make my day.
ReplyDeleteGood morning my dear Debby!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, this is a tough one but I have to agree with Debra: LIFE. No matter how mundane or difficult or ordinary I have ever thought my life to be, being able to take a breath and see the world and experience LIFE is the best gift anyone could ever receive. WHAT GREAT PHOTOS!!!
Hugs, Anita
Love your images... all of them.
ReplyDeleteMy son is the best thing that ever happened to me,
in fact I can't seem to remember how I managed to be happy during the times he was not yet born.
Oh and a good slice of blueberry cheesecake after a very hearty meal.
I'm with you, Debby, my children! I can't think of anything more wonderful as a treat than Starbucks. Such a great company, and their drinks are the best!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday.

The best thing that every happened to me at age 25 is seriously my faith!! After that...meeting my husband and my three children! Also discovering the joys of teaching and working with teenagers...after that ICE CREAM!
ReplyDeleteMy boys! No comparison there!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely my three sons...cannot imagine life without them. (Of course my husband is very much part of that equation) and then a close second is being blessed with good health. I LOVE those pictures...so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have to say the best thing that ever happened to me was becoming a Christian while in a jr. high school! Nothing can top that but in a close second is my wonderful husband and my incredible children! Then it would be my precious granddaughter! All serious blessings, for sure! Now I'm off to get a Pumpkin Spiced Latte because I will be thinking about it all day since you mentioned it! Have a wonderful Wednesday, Debby!!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say that buying my house 21 yrs. ago would be it. Home ownership has been an amazing journey. Having my own little haven, curling up with my furry four legged friends and a garden to tend to.
ReplyDeleteMy family is the best thing ever. I cannot imagine my life being as wonderful or full as it is without them.
ReplyDeleteMy family and my faith. I'd be nowhere without them.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing that ever happened to me was marrying my husband! When we have kids, meeting him & having them will be a tie :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet Debby,
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming and YOU MY DEAR, taught me a lot about headers! Isn't it fun to create?
I hope your New England fall day is SPECTACULAR! Love, Anita
There's so many things I could say but the best one is my new friend, lover and fiance!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Wednesday sweet Debby
Luv Sonia Xo
That I got to go to college in Paris. I am eternally grateful for that experience. What a great post Debby!
ReplyDeleteEasy for me too. It's that I met J. Best thing ever.
ReplyDeleteOh and the latte would do very nicely too :)

There are so many "best things" don't you think? Depends upon one's age, one's experiences, and, of course, upon the day you asked. Today, right this minute, it's my 2 dogs, Bono & FiFi. Don't know how I would live without them. We all know how important our family is, our lovers our husbands. My girlfriends are equally important. I find joy in so much, even going to Hobby Lobby made me happy today looking at all the new Christmas decorations made especially for children. OMG, Debby, why did you ask this? xx's
ReplyDeleteDebby,
ReplyDeleteFamily and friends are the best thing that every happened to me. I am an only child and I place my friends up there with family because so many of them are like sisters. But I think I'm with Debra, I do love life so maybe that's the best thing. It's too hard to choose, I'm with you, when I see my dogs after a busy day a work I think they are the best thing, but something as simple as a Starbucks can be wonderful too! :-)
It's a good time of year for us to ponder this question.

My friends (and that includes my husband) are the best thing that's happened to me. We all need good people in our lives :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband, children and great friends. Very Blessed....
ReplyDeletemy best thing is when I graduated college & received my interior design degree. After changing a major from art education (wanted to be a high school art teacher) and going to school part time for years then full time, it was very overwhelming. I finally had a sense of accomplishment when I crossed the stage.
ReplyDeleteFor sure my kids too...but my blog really changed my life in a wonderful way. And even the bad things that happened in my life ended up being for the best and leading to places I would have never ended up ;)
