Sometimes it's a delicious meal that feeds the soul, other times it's a loved one's laugh, or travel adventure that allows you to view the world through different eyes.
I have a new and exciting series in the works that involves traveling (and really, what would traveling be without eating)?! I'll give you another hint...Nantucket may just be involved in the mix. Can you say let the living commence?! Woot woot!
Speaking of feeding the soul, we had the most delicious dinner last night and it took no time at all to prepare. It was an autumnal feast of Chicken Breasts with Fig Goat Cheese and Roasted Butternut Squash with Cinnamon. Simple, full of flavor and easy.
What has been feeding your soul as of late?

Gorgeous and inspiring photos! Nothing like traveling and enjoying good food!

So exciting! Cannot wait for this series! Now, seriously, what could be a better combo than food and traveling, uh? :)
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds so good and I just want to live in the first and fourth pictures!! I will probably return to them again and again throughout my windowless day....Hmmmm, well what feeds my soul first is prayer....second smiles of family and friends....third, finding beauty in creation no matter where I am... and, finally, understanding my purpose.
ReplyDeleteYUM! - we went to dinner last week and they had fresh homemade goat cheese *amazeballs* - i've been on a HUGE cheese kick! (i JUST found out that 99% of cheeses are lactose free (i'm intolerant) WHO KNEW - now i'm eating it like it's going out of business)
ReplyDeleteOh dear Debby, these photos are exquisite, and your NEW SERIES SOUNDS FANTASTIC. I'm IN!
ReplyDeleteThis menu sounds so fabulous. Last night I made sautéed chicken breast in olive oil and garlic, then stirred in some mushrooms..talk about an autumn meal....HOLY COW, it was good.
But what has been feeding my soul lately? In spite of spitting and sputtering about at times going through my TRANSITION of not working full time, I HAVE BEEN ENJOYING being at home, to listen to the silence and create. And let's face it, everyone, and us ARTISTS, need someone to tell us how fabulous our work is. I was able to finally SHOW two high-end shops in the area my work and they flipped out. Needless to say, I am now busy preparing some items for them...ahhh....FINALLY!
Have a grand day my dear. Anita
Adoring your photos today Debby! Spending time with loved ones is feeding my soul at the mo! I can't wait to learn more about your Nantucket hint - are you moving there??????

ReplyDeleteI love travel. My husband and I make it a point to take one or two mini-vacations a year. Short weekend getaways to east coast towns not too far away. It really helps to recharge the soul. :)
