Smitten with Summer Series: Vanisha of Vanisha's Life

Today I have the adorable Vanisha ofVanisha's Life sharing all of her summer faves. Vanisha is originally from Fiji, (can you say swoon)? She is currently living in Australia with her hubby, (double swoon)! This girl certainly has the most beautiful places on earth covered! Welcome, Vanisha!

On a boat and out at sea, there's nothing that I enjoy more...

Cotton, lots of cotton. Flow-y white cotton tops to show off my gorgeous tan, with shorts, slip on sandals (never flip flops) and a pedicure!

Mojitos, Coconut juice from a coconut and Water - it's all about the balance. Be kind to your body.

Gimmie Some Lovin' by Sam and Dave

Fruit platters. Fijian summers include lots of watermelon, pineapple, Chopped up pieces of coconut and passion fruit.

A sarong! Perfect for lying on, drying yourself off, covering up and keeping warm as the sun sets and the wind picks up...

Fragrance! A gardenia scent if I'm just lounging on the beach or a coconut scent if I'm going in and out of the water...

Thank you for all of your well wishes yesterday. Even though I can find humor in the stickiest of situations, I am well aware of the seriousness of a blood clot. I am off to a specialist today. Even though I tease to lighten the intensity at times, please know I am prioritizing my health.

There is still time to enter the Power of Change necklace giveaway via Project Strength. Winner will be announced this week.

  12. Debbie - this is definitely summer !!!

Girl just read yesterday's post! Ouch ... yes, those needles are deceiving - I recall them well - the stinging. I'm happy that you sound in good spirits and that you are with your Mother! Try to avoid sitting/being in one stationary position too long and be careful what teas you drink while doing the needles - some will further thin your blood (yes, I found out the hard way).

Blessings to you my friend..xo HHL
