It's Raining, It's Pouring... and Winner Announcement

 via

You know the expression when it rains it pours? Well, I am getting hail over here. I have been at the hospital spending time with a loved one who is in there. At this point, I find myself throwing my arms up to the skies and saying, "Seriously?! Come on!! Enough already." Then I remind myself that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and it gets me through the day. So, once again, please excuse my lack of visits your way, while my dream life of eating crepes in France, shopping in fabulous little boutiques, and sunning myself along the French Riviera gets delayed. Posting may be sporadic for bit.

Thank you to everyone who entered the Endless Wardrobe giveaway! The lucky winner chosen by Random.org is: Adele of Into the Blonde. I know she'll rock whatever item she chooses!

I also want to give a big cyber hug to all of those who sent encouraging messages about my new foundation Project Strength. Thanks to everyone who place Project Strength buttons on their site to show support. If you would like a button, but need a different size, let me know I'll get you one. I am also going to make a button w/ a grab code when I have the time. If you have experienced verbal or physical abuse and would like to share your story anonymously on Project Strength let me know.

Stay tuned because I have another giveaway to be announced this week!

  7. Debby, I'm so sorry this time is so difficult. I know you'll get through it all right, but I also know the path right now is thorny, prickly, and downright frustrating. Can I do anything to help?

  8. Debs, you are taking such a buffeting just now, it's ok to throw yourself down on the couch, have a good cry and shout out 'life's not fair', if nothing else, you'll sleep well afterwards - that's what usually helps me.

  9. Sweetie, you shall overcome. I know, life sometimes throws a lot of punches at us and you have to learn to roll with them punches. It WILL get better.

    Hugs,

I am so sorry to hear that you have a loved one in the hospital. I seemed to have missed your Project Strength post...that was probably the week I took off from blogging.

YES..you CAN DO ALL THINGS through CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS EACH ONE OF US. You will do it, you will be the light you are meant to be. Take courage, for "HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD."
