Grace, beauty and style are just a few adjectives that come to mind to describe Audrey Hepburn. What was most attractive about her was her depth. There was so many more layers to Audrey than just her pretty face. She wore her heart on her sleeve and helped children with her humanitarian efforts. Beauty fades but a beautiful heart is an eternal beauty.

I also like her efforts to "be the change you want to see in the world". She really was beautiful inside and out.

ReplyDeleteOh Audrey YES!!! YES!! I loved her ability to take simplicity and make elegant! Her kind heart and giving spirit are an inspiration and reminder that a happy soul is truly one that helps others. I'm swooning over the photos you have shared! xo C. (HHL)
I can't imagine anyone NOT being an Audrey Fan. I have such fond memories of being a child and watching her movies on late Saturday mornings.
ReplyDeleteI adore that she had a pet deer, I mean how perfect is that.
I admire her humanitarian work, especially how she seemed to do so much of it behind the scenes, before it was so fashionable to have a "cause".
What an inspiration.
I love this! I am such an Audrey and I adore how well you represented her here. Love that dress!

ReplyDeleteI love Ms Hepburn. What an icon and a wonderful humanitarian. My favorite quote of hers is: I don't want to be alone, I just want to be left alone. Amen to that, sister! :)

Yeyyy! I have never won anything! off to see what my pick will be! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love Audrey because of her kindness, sensitivity and social implication toward less fortunate people and of course for her Intemporel and pretty face!!!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous! The first room is stunning! xo
ReplyDeleteYay for the sweet Karlita!!
ReplyDeleteI do love Audrey. My 9-year-old daughter also does. She wants drawings of Audrey to grace her bedroom walls. Last year at school, she asked the school librarian if they had any Audrey Hepburn books. The school librarian told her that she was the 1st child to ask for such a book. I just had to laugh.
I hope your week is the best!
Keri
