A Touch of Pretty

via
Happy Friday, Loves. I am loving this soft feminine inspiration this morning. The weather is gloomy, it's pouring cats and dogs, the air has a stifling tropical feel to it, and booming thunder is rattling my home. I think I'll lose myself dreaming of pretty dresses, delicate pink peonies, and a cozy bed to snuggle back into.

What has been inspiring you these days?

  1. Uh oh...since you are a tad west of me the rain is coming! I love the Lilly and peonies in your pictures...sigh!

As for my inspiration lately - books....lots and lots of books. Have a great weekend!

  5. SO gorgeous, Debby! It was stormy here too early in the morning but is clearing up now. I would have loved nothing more than to lay in my bed all day long :)

    Have a great weekend! xoxo

  6. Oh how I would love pouring rain and thunder! I would crawl back into bed with a good book and maybe even light some candles. Could you send it this way? It has been so long since we have seen a drop...we just entered stage 3 water restrictions. Sigh! I have seen on several blogs lately, flowers in jars...I just might have to place some around the house today! Have a great weekend, Debby!

  8. Good morning precious one....

I just got back from a LONG WALK and our paths just crossed as I did my early morning blog hopping! Oh dear, what fab colors you have here today. I am really loving this coral/orange mixed with seafoam green and aqua. What is inspiring me today? THE SUNSHINE that is here for now, but like you, we will soon be getting our share of the rattling thunderstorms AND humid high temps. So let's dream and create!

Thank you for coming to visit me! Anita

  18. Can your own photos be inspiring? I've been trying to organize some of my old photos recently and I forgot how beautiful some of the places I've been are. It kind of makes me want to just take in every moment more :)

Love the photo of dresses! Have a wonderful weekend!

  19. Love all of these pretty pictures and I sure wish we had some of your rain! We really need it! You should take a look at the paintings Emily just brought us yesterday for the shop! Now THEY are inspiring! It's always so exciting to get them! Take care and hope you have a fun weekend!

  20. Loving those single pink blooms in vintage glasses. So pretty.

My weekend was a whirlwind of activity...flying to North Carolina, seeing friends, picking up my oldest from sleep away camp, only to come home for a "wig" party. Yes, we all wore wigs and I went blonde!!! Didn't look as good on me as it does on you, but it was fun.

Taking it easy today, catching up....ready for the big holiday week ahead.
Hope your weekend has been relaxing!
    xoxo Elizabeth
