New Ventures: Baubles + Prints

I talk an awful lot about creating the life we want to life. With that said, I have been busy diving head first into some new ventures. As you know, I've recently become a Stella + Dot Independent Stylist. In case you missed it, I am hosting a giveaway for a Lindsay Bangle, (mine is shown above in pink). The winner gets to choose her color. (DIY Kate Spade Cloverdale tutorial here).

I've also been busy getting my print shop up and running. The shop will offer giclee prints of my photography and will be featuring prints of Paris, Nantucket, California + even my hometown of Groton, MA. Below is a sneak peek of a few of my Nantucket prints.

There is nothing like a new venture to take the dull out of everyday and add a little excitement to our life. Possibilities bring hope, and a life without hope is no life at all!

When was the last time your ventured into something new? What was it?

  1. I couldn't agree more with you, new ventures bring a vitality to life.
I recently participated in my first fitness competition( not a venture , more an experience) a full hour and a half of Cardio with weights. It was awesome, I'm so glad I did it. I'm curious about what camera you use? Your images are incredible. I am thinking seriously about getting one Debbie.

  2. I agree...new ventures have fueled me in my first year of the empty nest!! It can be exhilarating. I love all of your prints so much...would you consider selling a box of cards with all of them included? These would be great for thank you notes or just a personal note to a friend. Thanks for the ideas today...I am going to do the papaya mask for sure!!

  13. Forever chasing dreams, I've launched a couple dreams into the world. My first venture was a shop called Windy Corner herbs & flowers. Flowers and herbs continue to be a passion of mine. My next venture was getting into the world of writing after a life time of dreaming about it. My next venture will be all about combining writing and my new passion, photography. Now to come up with a way to incorporate flowers and herbs into the scheme and I believe I'd have the perfect venture.

Love the blog changes. Good luck with you latest venture into the world of printing. Your photos of Nantucket *sigh* are stunning!

  15. As you know - figuring out and creating a new me and life that actually fit together has been focus during the past couple years. This year I am jumping in with committing to host an afternoon tea fundraiser for the trauma centre that saved my life... we go to book the venue soon .. so no turning back ( I'm scared to death...)!!

I had some made up and sent to friends and family, and they are trying to get me to do them as a hobby to sell. I'm considering doing cards with photos taken of teas, flowers and various places throughout our trips. Hubby is working on a calendar and I may join him in that.

It is scary trying something different ... But there is growth in change. And you my friend are a wonderful inspiration to grabbing on to life and moving forward!! One day we will have a tea and chat on end... xo Hugs, HHL
