Happy Friday, Loves! My make up brushes are lined up and ready to go. Tonight my daughter has her prom. The dress has been altered, limo reserved, hair appointment scheduled, nails have been done, and alas, the checking account depleted. If only I could just retreat to this girl-haven of a bedroom after the limo is on it's merry way. I would be accompanied by a steaming cup of tea and Fifty Shades of Grey. I bought the book to see what all the hype was about. Although, it's not the best-written book, I'll admit it is a definite page-turner. Have you read it? Thoughts?
I am excited to announce The Inspired Print Shop is now up and running! My shop features Giclée prints and note cards of my original photography. The photography tells a tale of my insatiable wanderlust and need to explore beautiful places. Photos of Paris, Nantucket Island, California and my hometown are all available and more note cards are already in the works!

GOOD MORNING MY DEAR!
ReplyDeleteOh Debby, is this your youngest going to the prom? GET YOUR REST TONIGHT!!! I have not heard of this book and what is striking is how many reads out there are NOT well written, yet they are published and selling. Hmmmm.....maybe I have a chance!
I am so happy for you that you have started your enterprise! YOUR PHOTOS are just wonderful my dear! I wish you the best! It is so fun to develop a business and see it go somewhere. This summer I will be trying to learn how to use my new Photoshop, but it sure is NOT easy!!
Have a wonderful day, Anita
Your website looks wonderful Debby! I love those Nantucket note cards....hope to be a customer really soon!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Debby...those white floors have me melting x
ReplyDeleteSuch a romantic post! I am in love with the beautiful flowing top. It reminded me of Shakespeare's Juliet. Bravo for the notecards and prints! Each one is a ever so fine. Have fun with your daughter as she primps for the prom. These are wonderful days.
ReplyDeleteI am reading 50 Shades of Grey now! I am not too far in yet, but yes-it is a page turner (or maybe I am just really into this one based on all the hype!?)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your print shop,....its my next stop! How exciting for your daughter, know shes in great hands to get her all glammed up! Hope you are not having the super humid weather that we are...not a hairs best friend! Have not read the book, just not that interested though I suspect I will give in one day strictly out of curiosity. Love the beautiful images above....they sure give off a romantic wonderful vibe. Have fun getting your daughter ready tonight!
ReplyDeleteWhat a girly girl room that is! Proms are such exciting times - trust it will be a glorious night for your Prom Queen. I love the cards in your new print shop; in fact ordered a set of the Paris prints for a graduation gift for a lovely young lady who made her first trip there this spring.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!! I bet she'll look gorgeous. And that would be a perfect haven to retreat to. I haven't read Fifty Shades yet but I do have the 3 books. Might delve into them this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time tonight and enjoy the weekend, Debby! Oh and congrats on The Inspired Print Shop. The images are gorgeous! xoxo

Debby,
ReplyDeleteThe Prom is such a huge deal these days and definitely drains the checking account! I know you will take lots of pictures - it's such a special day for mother and daughter :)
I'm so excited for your Print Shop and I'll pop over and have a look.
I too am reading 50 Shades.. I'm about half way through the first book and I'm trying to decide if I like it. It's a little disturbing but I can see how it can be erotic for some women. I'd like to know what you think..

hi debby, congratulations on your daughters prom! lovely post as usual.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the 3rd book now. I think it would have still been interesting without certain "toys". I enjoy the humor in it.
Oh wow, congratulations on your daughters prom! That is so exciting. Also congratulations on opening your shop, you have some gorgeous photographs.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new shop - will pop over there. I love the first room - so much to look at. an interesting, feminine place.
