All Things French

Did my fellow Americans enjoy the long weekend? I am feeling well-rested after a relaxing holiday spent grilling, soaking in the lovely weather, and being in the company of loved ones.

The first photo is of one of my favorite prints. It was taken at The Basilique du Sacre-Couer, in Montmarte, and the view from the Sacre-Couer is simply amazing, (the print is available in my print shop
shop).

I have a couple of blog readers who have trips to Paris scheduled. Have you visited the city of lights? What must-sees you recommend to would-be-visitors?

The Stella + Dot Lindsay bangle winner will be announced this week. There is still time to enter if you haven't done so!

  1. Heading off to Monte Carlo and Cap Ferrat/Cap D'Antibes next week for my birthday, it took me about 8 trips to finally like Paris, I like being by the sea.

  2. Love that first shot, stunning. Yes Paris as I talk about often is possibly my most favorite city on the planet, so much to see and do and discover, have been 4 times and did something new each time I was there, cannot wait to go again. Glad you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

  6. Dear Debby, another great post to lift the spirits just a little more. Your blog never disappoints. The wooden floor in that picture has me missing my parents home, and craving the feel of wooden floors on my feet. Have a great week Debby xoxox

  22. Oh La La ... you have captured the view from there beautifully!! Places in Paris ... if the enjoy tea .... Tea at the Ritz is a wonderful experience ...perfect sitting on terrace taking tea. Also a visit to Mariage Frères is a must for any tea connoisseur- they have various locations I would suggest the Carrousel du Louvre, Place de la Pyramide inversée
99, rue de Rivoli, Paris 1er Phone. : +33(0)1 40 20 18 54 ~ perfect after a day exploring the Louvre!! ... and of course a visit to Coco Chanel's first shop (right behind the Ritz)... Ahhh ... I wish I was going back to Paris!! xo HHL
