Sea Swept Seduction

interior 1: BPC Architecture2-4
The only thing I'm gonna allow to seduce me these days is the seaside, (o.k., and if we are being completely honest, chocolate knows how to make my heart race as well). Is it possible to have a love affair with a body of water? The wind softly whispers in my ear,  waves gently caress my feet, seagulls serenade, and the summer sun envelopes me in a blanket of warmth that is completely comforting. How much more romantic can it get? Yes, I think my love affair with the sea suits me just fine for now.

Do you have a love affair with the sea or does a mountainside, lake or snow covered landscape hold you captive?

  1. I've only just realised how much I love being by water and the beach, what a beautiful picture.

  2. Though I love a mountainscape, I think the ocean is maybe one of two places where I can find complete rest and peace...the waves are so soothing. My other is a Texas Hill Country morning in a bed and breakfast! Have a great weekend!

  12. Happy Easter my dear friend!
If I was to choose...I would be a beach dweller! There is just something so laid back about the beach life!
The color palette is my favorite I love the aquas, blues and sand tones with a touch of pink and cream like a seashell!
    So dreamy

  16. What wonderful words and photos that evoke the romance of the sea. I've had an affinity for watery places since my childhood, but my love affair with Cape Cod began as an adult and continues to this day.
