Bonjour, Beautiful

If it's fabulously french then my heart is guaranteed to pitter-patter right out of my chest.  There are some things that are just unmistakeably beautiful and other things whose beauty isn't as obvious. Finding beauty in the unexpected is always such a  thrill.  The ugly old dog who rests his head on your knee, a wrinkled elder whose eyes sparkle when they speak of those they love, or viewing an ugly dispute between a couple only to have one of them stop mid argument and walk over to embrace their partner.  Yes... beauty is everywhere.

Where do you plan on finding it today?

  3. I dont' care where I find it as long as I find it.........going to take Teddy for a walk with a friend later, who I haven't seen in a while..and normally those walks are really theraputic, just taking in the beautiful nature along the trail. Agreed, it IS everywhere, we just have to look for it.

  10. Wonderful Debby! Interesting how WE as a society define beauty. True beauty goes beyond what is visible :)

  11. Your posts are always beautiful, Debby! I love that you have us stop and think...food for thought. I think I found beauty coming by to visit you right now. We are surrounded by beauty. This afternoon I will take our dog out for a nice walk in the gorgeous sunshine we're having and look at some of the trees starting to come into bloom and daffodils popping up in people's gardens. Hope you have a lovely afternoon.

  12. Every time I read your posts I get swept up in the images you paint, you should write a novel.
Beautiful post, I think I've found my bit of beauty for today in the 5th and 6th picture.

  13. Gorgeous images!!! Oh how I hope a trip to Paris or anywhere in France comes to be this year. I've seen it spring (2010) , and autumn (2011) ~ summer would be great ... but for now it's only a dream. Beauty is everywhere, today I'm finding it in our little furbaby's cuddle.

Happy week my friend..xo C. (HHL)

All things French make my heart pitter patter too.

Today I'm headed off to see a play & hope to find many fleeting moments of beauty between the actors :-)
