A Funky Little Fashion Blog
A few parties and dinners and I can't wait but they're all casual but I do get to break out a few semi dress clothes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Day!

Not a lot but a few. A freind of mine and I were talking just last night that we both agree they seem to be out of fashion, I guess a lot of work, and pressure, they are expensive to throw,etc....too bad because they are fun to attend:) I hope to have one next year! The best ones I remember are from when I was younger (in my 20's) lived in the city, newly married, carefree, not a care in the world!! Heres to a great 2012- cheers!
ReplyDeleteEverybody loves the sparkling season. I love to wear sparkling clothes too in wintertime.
ReplyDeleteWell I think you have the sparkle thing down pat, Debby!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

ReplyDeleteTis the season to sparkle indeed! Love these images...
ReplyDeleteMy friends and I threw a masquerade ball for NYE a few years back at my best friends house..she has a separate area of the house that they call The Lizard lounge..it has a bar, disco ball, karaoke, and dj stand...it's like club, but in the privacy of a home..BEST TIME EVER!
ReplyDeleteThese images definitely get one in the mood for the party time of the season! ... The holidays is a great time to catch up with friends, Try to keep entertaining menu as simple as possible when entertaining large groups, so you can enjoy the party too! Happy Wednesday..xo HHL
ReplyDeleteI am throwing a Trader Joe's Cookie party. Not very glam but so fun. I bought every cookie they made and all my friends are coming over to eat them. Yum!

I will be hitting some parties in two weeks and I am so excited...already planned the outfit. They are so much fun, but I have not hosted one in along time. One of favorites was when some friendds rented San Antonio Trolley Cars from Downtown and we all went Christmas caroling...it was even cold that night with hot chocolate around a fireplace afterwards...will remember it always. This is so random, but I like the nail polish color in the first picture!
ReplyDeleteI've been to a few parties and have a few more to go. Am even hosting a Mad for Plaid luncheon with a friend for a group of 40 women! We've had fun pulling things together...I'm hoping it comes out as terrifically tartan as we have imagined!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the ingredients for a memorable party are:
Cohesive invitation/decor
Good lighting/music
Great mix of people
Something special, yet unexpected!
xoxo Elizabeth
