A Little Holiday Inspiration

via
Ho Ho Ho... Have you gotten into the Holiday spirit yet? This little elf is going to be late buying gifts this year I'm afraid, so I searched for some holiday inspiration to get us all in the mood. This weekend we plan on decorating our tree and baking some Thumbprint Cookies Rolled in Coconut. These are the best cookies in the world and are the perfect treat while decking the halls.

Have you started your holiday shopping or decorating yet? What is your best tip to keep the holidays stress free?

  3. I am usually done buying gifts by Thanksgiving and the decor is up by Thanksgiving weekend. This year - nope! I do not have one present purchased and the trees might just stay in the garage this year. We are going away so I'm kind of in the middle with what I want to do. This post has totally made me want to bake cookies though!!

  5. Thanks for the inspiration and recipe! I am by all means my mother and had most of my Christmas shopping done months ago. I try to listen throughout the year and get the present when I think of it otherwise, of course, I can't think of anything in December.

    Have fun decorating!

About the stress free thing. In my opinion a small dose of carelessness helps ... yes, and a glass of red.

  14. I am sooo in the Holiday spirit. I just keep reminding myself the important things always get done, it is the little stuff we , "think" we have to have done that we finally let go of and enjoy the holidays. I also make sure I smile and say, Merry Christmas to all the clerks at stores!! Sometimes they look a bit surprised, Like, "Oh Ya that is what this is all about!"
    Merry Christmas Debby♥

  21. Thank you for the wonderful images - they are definitely getting me in the mood for Christmas. With the weather being so warm in Connecticut, it is difficult to think about hot cocoa and snow! The only snowflakes we may see are the lit ones on my porch! Have a great weekend, Cynthia

  26. I love everything!!! I put a silver tree up this year and I love it. We have always had a real tree - so an artificial and silver tree was out of the norm this year!
I just love this silver tree with pink ornaments.
    Have a pretty day!
