September already.... before we know it we will be picking apples, buying pumpkins and pulling out all of our fall sweaters. I love the idea of integrating simple pine cones into a tablescape. It is inexpensive and provides the perfect rustic setting for a delicious lunch of Roasted Butternut Squash Soup and Romaine, Gorgonzola, Grape and Walnut Salad.
Now that the kids have started a new school year I hope to have a bit more time to catch up and visit some of my favorite blogs. It's been a bit busy around here and I am trying to get outdoors and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts. I hope to stop by too see you all soon! xoxo

Happy September, Debby! I was just thinking of pulling out the sweaters yesterday but our weather has been quite warm, in the 80s. I love the outdoor setting....rustic and elegant.
ReplyDeleteThe kids started school today and Antwerp went into the perfect summer mood with gorgeous sunny weather. So, it was hubby and I lunching ALONE at a restaurant (when was the last time that happened?!!) and then when he left for work, I sat on my bicycle and went into the city centre, bought myself Vogue US and InStyle and did a little shopping, took photos of Antwerp & had a latte. The only autumn in my life are the gorgeous September issues on my coffee table ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the fall! Come see a Canadian Winnie the Pooh and a graffiti fridge.
