Brown Eyed Girl has Style: Part 8

***

Happy August, my loves!

Please tell me where July went?! My goodness, this summer has just flown right by. Since next month we'll probably be talking of fall fashions and the chill that will inevitably be coming in the air soon, I thought one more summer celebration was in order! I came across this funky, yet striking wedding/reception photo shoot and was instantly smitten. Styled to reflect a Palm Springs pool party, the inspiration behind the shoot was a bride and groom that wanted to abandon all traditional celebrations and do something completely unexpected for their guests. The bride is actually wearing her bikini under that gorgeous lace dress!

Cheers to summer love!

  1. I so hope you are right, Debby! I need the chill to be in the air soon..it has been a long, brutal, dry summer down here and I am hoping for an early fall...or just any kind of fall!! We found ourselves disappointed last weekend that the tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico was a dud and brought no rain....or well your bright pictures are some of the best part of this summer!!

  6. What a fun couple it would take to do that. Love love the balloon arch but I can't say I dig the bridesmaid's hair :). If I looked that great in a bikini I'd probably even wear it to like the grocery store!
