Serene Saturday

Hallelujah, it's the weekend! I don't care if the house is on fire, I am not loosing my serenity today. After a busy week which included an end of the school year party, which consisted of 30-40 fifteen years olds, and a nervous papihuahua, who got himself so worked up on the way to the groomer, that he vomited in the backseat of my beloved mini cooper.... I plan on squeezing in some rest and relaxation.

The big news in Boston this week was Whitey Bulger was caught... Does anyone besides my husband actually care? It's about time. The fact that the sun is due to come out on Sunday, after a rain filled week is more important news in my book! One good thing about all the rain, is my beloved hydrangeas are beginning to bloom. I don't care what the situation, there is always something positive to be found after a storm!

Thanks to all of you who continue to read and support Inspired Design and welcome to any new readers. I am beyond thrilled to have reached 1000 readers as of yesterday. I always try to visit new followers, but if I have missed you, drop me a note and let me know so I can swing by! xoxo

  4. The big news in San Antonio this week was that we got rain!! We were 24 hours away from stage three water restrictions which we have never hit, and then it poured! They say we may hit it next week, but the sound of thunder was glorious! I also am trying to recover, but from a wedding! Enjoy your serenity!! (Oh and Congratulations on the new readership!!)

  13. these images, oh my! And congrats on your 1000!

Funny that you mention the Bulger news because I had no idea who he was and I'm reading in the Icelandic media that it was an Icelander who gave the FBI the tip! Very interesting ... so your hubby is not the only one interested ;-)
