A Stroll through Love

It all begins with a chance meeting and a first date with that someone who catches your
eye and makes your heart go pitter patter.

A single date turns into mulitple dates.  An engagement happens.

Sure enough after much planning a wedding ensues....

Followed by a  romantic honeymoon getaway.

The first home is purchased.

A pet becomes a beloved member of your new family.

Followed by children who are spitting images of our adult selves.

Your kids grow up, find love and have their own wedding ceremony.
Leaving us to wonder how they grew up so fast.

Then we are showered with Grandchildren to spoil.

The golden years follow and if we are lucky we still have our better
half to hold our hand through the latter part of life.

This is how it's supposed to go.  My husband and I reversed a few steps here and there.  We didn't have a huge wedding or a grand honeymoon.  Our children came before our first house.  With that said... I wouldn't change a thing.
Even if your love story is traditional in every sense of the word, these would just be the highlights of your life as a couple.  There are bound to be difficulties in any long term relationship.  Illnesses, loss, conflicts.  Trials that will test and strenghten the relationship.
How wonderful if at the end of our stroll we still have that special someone walking next  to us.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope you are celebrating the many joys of love today whether it be with a soul mate, a parent, a child or a friend.  xoxo

  22. Oh yea, my first home looked exactly like the one you showed!! LOL
It was actually a house built in the 1930's that had NEVER been updated.
