Color Soiree Strawberries and Cream

via 1+3, 2
When Logan was age four she had the most perfect shade of pink adorning her bedroom walls.
It resembled a cup of strawberry milk.  These pink walls instantly brought me back to her
old bedroom,  the bedtime stories, well worn stuffed animals and the scent of her
freshly powdered skin after her nightly bath.
For me strawberry pink will always represent my daughter's childhood.
Do you have a color that reminds you of something special?

Thank you to everyone who entered the Ruche giveaway.
The winner chosen by Random.org is Kayla of Sequins and Lace!
Enjoy, Kayla!

  8. Saw that adorable pink poof yesterday and was completely smitten. Yes, pink is also the color that reminds me of my girl. Last year she told me her fav' color of 24 years had switched to teal but it will always be pink to me.

  11. I too am drawn to this amazing color! And what a great way to describe it!(I had been using watermelon)
For me though it's a pale shade of lavender with a tiny hint of coral. This was the color of my now grown daughters mini boudoir! Every time I see this combination I pause and remember the little lady that even before she walked well carried a handbag!

  16. What a sweet thought. I love periwinkle blue because it reminds me of the wall color in my daughter's first "big girl" room. I let her choose her comforter herself, she chose a periwinkle blue and white floral one from Laura Ashley-she was five at the time. We painted the walls white and added the blue accent wall behind her bed. I was so thrilled when the new owners of the house invited me to take a look at what they'd done and they kept the wall for their daughter.

  17. I love that first image! Soft yellow shades always remind me of my childhood and my Peter Rabbit themed bedroom - one of my earliest memories is the decor of that room.

  36. I love that pink bathroom! What a sweet post, Debby and I also love your daughter's name. Even at my adult age I still adore pink. Lavender brings back wonderful childhood memories for me. My sister and I shared a bedroom for a few years growing up and we had it painted in the most beautiful soft lavender. When I see that color now I think of late nights talking and giggling as little girls and sharing secrets with one another.
