What's Cookin'?

Old Man Winter doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon.  With record freezing temperatures in Boston, and more snow on the way, I am content to hole up in the kitchen and cook comfort food for hours on end.

  5. I can not wait to have my new little Kitchen! It will not be this fancy! But it will be all "me".
    I agree! It is freezing outside , so today I am going to make scalloped potatoes with ham and chocolate chip cookies. I just got back from the gym so.... no cookies for me!

  7. Love that last photo! ha ha! Winter has had me in the kitchen a little more than I usually would and its all food craving based! Comfort foods: french fries, hot desserts and ice cream, and pasta. :)

  8. I love the lucite stools in the top image. My comfort food is grilled soy cheese sandwiches and vegan chili. I practically live off the stuff in the winter.

  12. I love to cook but I really wish I had a bigger kitchen...then I'd never get out of it. Soups are a big comfort food for me and stew too :)

  19. I adore those clear stools in the first pic! Here in LA it's been in the 70s/80s so I don't really have a comfort food as of late for this season. I wish I could switch with you; I'd really love to have a winter so I can wear boots, sweaters, etc!
