Old Man Winter doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon. With record freezing temperatures in Boston, and more snow on the way, I am content to hole up in the kitchen and cook comfort food for hours on end.

ReplyDeleteanything in the crock pot. BTW the floor in the first picture is so clear and shiny it looks like a mirror. I wish my floors looked like that
ReplyDeleteAmazing kitchen spaces!
ReplyDeleteI can not wait to have my new little Kitchen! It will not be this fancy! But it will be all "me".
ReplyDeleteI agree! It is freezing outside , so today I am going to make scalloped potatoes with ham and chocolate chip cookies. I just got back from the gym so.... no cookies for me!
Have a pretty day!
Kristin
Comfort food isn't in my vocabulary; I eat everything ;-) Well, almost.
ReplyDeleteHope the weather gets better soon!
Love that last photo! ha ha! Winter has had me in the kitchen a little more than I usually would and its all food craving based! Comfort foods: french fries, hot desserts and ice cream, and pasta. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the lucite stools in the top image. My comfort food is grilled soy cheese sandwiches and vegan chili. I practically live off the stuff in the winter.

I love the first image! love the stools and rug in the background. My comfort food is pasta.
ReplyDeleteIt use to be mac n cheese or a baked potato but truthfully I think it's a jar of Nutella and a spoon :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that last picture :)
ReplyDeleteI love love Louise's old kitchen and picture of the girl and her cook books is fabulous. As for my comfort food, does wine count;)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful images.. great inspiration to stay in the kitchen .. cooking hearty stews and chilli..and of course backing a pie or two...ogh and cupcakes!!!xo HHL
ReplyDeleteI adore those clear stools in the first pic! Here in LA it's been in the 70s/80s so I don't really have a comfort food as of late for this season. I wish I could switch with you; I'd really love to have a winter so I can wear boots, sweaters, etc!
ReplyDeleteI just love all your pictures you post, always!
ReplyDeleteDebby, these images are beautiful. I love cookbooks and kitchens.
ReplyDeleteChili is my favorite meal for this cold weather!
