Yesterday was one of those days. It started with a phone call at 5 in the morning from the school district saying there was a two hour delay due to ice. Chaos ensued as the kids were involved in a minor fender bender, (thankfully, neither of my kids or their friends got hurt.... praise to the big guy upstairs). I had to help a friend who was emotionally distraught. You know those types of days... we have all been there.
It got me fantasizing about running away and renting a little cottage in the English countryside, (think Cameron Diaz in, The Holiday). Just a cozy cottage, no phone, a toasty fire, and a cute European car to roam the open roads.

Oh thank GOD that everyone is fine! And your dreams of running away to a cottage in a far away land? STUNNING. My dreams too. That is why I am making my little brick cottage an escape from all the fender benders of the day!!!! LOVELY, Anita
ReplyDeleteWow, thankfully all were ok...yikes..very scary!!!
