White Christmas

While I am one for color, there is something to be said for a snowy white Christmas theme.  So clean,

crisp and lovely.  The decorating at our home has begun full force.  We started on Thanksgiving, (it took tremendous restraint to even wait that long).  Every home looks more beautiful adorned with greens and twinkling lights.  Have you started decorating yet?

If the Shoe Fits Wear It

These beautiful shoe displays are creating an intense desire to do some shoe rearranging of my own.

Of course, to achieve the desired look I would have to add some new shoes to my collection.

A Boy Named Louis

I have to admit I don't get all gaga over Louis Vuitton but I do get a bit breathless when

I see a vintage Louis Trunk gracing an interior.  Seems like an impossible mission to find one and I do 

really enjoy a good challenge... hmmmm.  It would be great to put a little junk in another trunk for a change,  (Lord knows I added enough junk to my own trunk with that Thanksgiving feast yesterday)!

Kids have Style

These little kiddies are making my heart melt.  Her big brown eyes could get me to do just about anything.  I wonder if they make her sweater in an adult size?

Girl has Style

Another sunny delight.  How cute is she is her yellow toggle coat?   (my love of toggle coats began long ago with Paddington Bear)!  In my opinion, no outfit is complete without black tights... I will never tire of them.  The shoes are darling and I think that's a Starbucks cup I spy... we could be great friends.

The Good Life

What constitutes a good life to you?  For me it's being wherever my family and friends are. 

If they just so happened to be at this lovely Chateau... even better!  I would love to serve Thanksgiving dinner at this beautiful table.

I love these rooms adorned with Union Jack decor.  Oh, and that pink rug?  I would not be able to choose anything to wear (on purpose) if I had that dressing room.   I could dilly dally all day in that special little space.

There is nothing like finding a book that you just can't put down.  I can't remember the last time I found a book that truly moved me.  What do you recommend?  Is there a book that really spoke to you?  I would love to hear your absolute favorite.

Cozy Comforts

There is no escaping the fact that Winter is near.  It is an undeniable fact and I feel it most when my feet hit the cold floor in the morning or when there is a bitter chill when I am outside with the dogs in the evening.  I could easily hibernate indoors and not come out until Spring.  These are the perfect spots to cozy on up.
What are your plans for the weekend?  My daughter is having a sleepover for her birthday so I will have a house full of Freshmen girls and boys.  Bring on the loud music and laughter!
