Windows to the Soul

It's Saturday! It's a miracle but I have nothing pressing that I have to do.
We have no college tours scheduled this weekend that would require us to drive 2.forever hours just to arrive on time.  There are no family obligations, (yet)!
Just a pile of laundry that I may or may NOT
completely get through.  So, what is it I would like to do? NOTHING!
Well, nothing I don't feel like doing to be exact.  A home cooked meal
sounds good, warm brownies from the oven, and curling up under a throw and
reading my new Nicholas Sparks novel, (and if I happen to doze while reading... so
be it).  I think these spots look like the perfect spot to curl up and revel in nothingness!
Whatever you have planned.... enjoy... Monday comes fast.

  1. Awesome, Debby! Glad you are having a break from the college tours! We are off to see some friends in the country (which trust me, will not be as glam as it sounds), lol! Have a great weekend! XX!

  3. I am so tickled you have the weekend off!
I am thinking of you...I saw the new NS book and promised myself I could have it...after the Open House!
I agree...these cozy little nooks would make amazing spots to curl up with a good book and maybe a nap... after the brownies!
This may be the perfect weekend!

  11. Sounds wonderful Debby! I'm having a very relaxing day. Morning out walking in the city followed by a blissfully lazy afternoon indoors lounging on the couch smelling the delicious stew & zucchini bread coming from the kitchen. Enjoy the weekend, sweetie! Oh and those windows r so dreamy :) xoxo
